Soldiers act on their own
They find cover, react when they’re shot at, pass on what they see and pick their own targets. Each has a temperament, so a green recruit and a veteran won’t fight the same way.
A top-down tactical RTS about modern squads, recon and never quite knowing where the enemy is. Early in development. We post the progress as we go.
01 / Recon Working now
You can move the camera anywhere, but the camera doesn’t spot anything. One of your soldiers, or the recon drone, has to actually see the enemy.
The enemy soldiers are really there the whole time, moving around under the fog. Lose sight of them and all you keep is a last known position that fades, while they keep moving.
An illustration of the recon rules, drawn over a real in-engine shot of one of our test maps.
02 / Squads Working now
You command squads, not individual soldiers. Tell a squad to move, take up a position, hold, push, search an area or fall back. Cover, aiming, firing and reacting to contact are up to the soldiers.

02
Bullets hit specific body parts. Soldiers react to where they’re hit, get wounded, bleed, drop out of the fight or die, and a downed soldier stays down.
03
The enemy plays by the same rules. Its soldiers only know what they’ve seen or been told, and they act on their best guess for the rest.

Three test maps so far: a village, a desert compound and a farmstead. Small on purpose: each map is one local fight, not a whole front.
03 / Where it’s at
Status as of October 2026. Right now the game is squads, orders and firefights on three small test maps. Everything below is either being built or still on the list.
Built one feature at a time.
